Hello, Colleen! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
I am also wondering who the narrator(s) will be for this year’s Candlelight Processional at the Disneyland Resort. The event typically takes place the first weekend in December, but as of today, there hasn’t been any information released on the
Disney Parks Blog. I’m hoping that we will see a post this week with a few details, so make sure you follow the Disney Parks Blog on social media for the most up-to-date information. Also, keep in mind that this event is largely invitation-only. There are usually a few limited areas where Guests can stand to watch the show, but this can make for a pretty busy Main Street, U.S.A. and Town Square.
If you want to take part in another holiday tradition at the Happiest Place on Earth, make your way to the parks early to get in line to buy a highly coveted
handmade candy cane! These are available at Candy Palace in Disneyland Park on November 29 and December 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 24; or at Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure Park on November 28 and December 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 25. You will see a line start to form as soon as the park opens – look for taped off areas along Main Street, U.S.A. or Buena Vista Street. Those in line will receive a wristband that entitles you to buy one candy cane. You will either be able to purchase one right away or you will be given a time to return to buy your sweet treat.
I hope you have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort this holiday season!
