I was wondering if the music from Wishes can be heard from the Polynesian Beach? Also my family will be staying at WDW August 23-31st and I wanted to know the Electrical Water Pageant schedule as well as Wishes? How early should we arrive to view both?

    Hi Nikki,

You can indeed listen to the Wishes soundtrack whilst watching the fireworks from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort. The music is played through speakers which are situated by the beach.

This is actually one of my favourite things to do whilst at Walt Disney World as it offers a much more relaxed setting to enjoy the amazing nighttime spectacular from.

Having checked the Magic Kingdom park calendar for the dates of your trip, I can tell you that Wishes is currently scheduled to take place at 10pm on 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 & 29 August 2011 and at 9pm on 28, 30 & 31 August 2011.

The Electrical Water Pageant takes place nightly and usually follows the schedule detailed below:-

    Disney's Polynesian Resort - 9pm
    Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - 9.15pm
    Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort - 9.35pm
    Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground - 9.45pm
    Disney's Contemporary Resort - 10.05pm

When Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is scheduled to take place at 9pm, the Electrical Water Pageant runs approximately 10 - 20 minutes later.

Please bear in mind that times are subject to change without notice and inclement weather can cause cancellation of the pageant.

I would plan on arriving at the Polynesian Resort for 8.30pm - 8.45pm in order to enjoy both Wishes & the Electrical Water Pageant and if you get there early enough, grab yourself a hammock, put your feet up and enjoy the evenings entertainment.

     Wishing you a magical trip!
