Greetings, Patty, and welcome to planDisney! As the holiday season quickly approaches, it's fun to dream of indulgent treats, family time together, and cozy vibes. That's why I love that the holiday tea experience is on your radar – it checks all those boxes and more!
Patty, there haven't yet been any announcements about whether or not Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus will return to
Hearthstone Lounge this year. It may just be a little too early, though, judging by the timing of last year's announcement. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
official Disneyland Resort Instagram account, in case an announcement is made there in the coming weeks. If this special holiday experience is anything like last year, it will be offered on select dates in December, and reservations will quickly run out. My best advice is to keep checking and try to make a reservation as soon as you can.
In the event that it doesn't return, there are still plenty of fun experiences that will help you soak up some holiday cheer:
- Book a seasonal Character dining experience at Storytellers Cafe or Goofy's Kitchen. I'm really excited about Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast – in between trips to the buffet during dinner, you'll be visited by Mickey Mouse, Scrooge McDuck, and other friends!
- Stop by Fantasyland Theater for Holiday Fun with Santa & Friends! Meet Santa and Disney pals, take photos, listen to festive music, and more.
- Watch A Christmas Fantasy Parade, which features dancing reindeer, marching toy soldiers, and more. You can even get the dining package at Plaza Inn to watch the show from a reserved viewing location.
- For the ultimate holiday immersion, join the Disneyland Resort Home for the Holidays Guided Tour. This two-hour walking tour will warm your heart with stories of beloved holiday traditions at the park, Lightning Lane access to Haunted Mansion Holiday, special viewing for A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and more.
I also like the idea of doing the
World of Color Dessert Party, since the treats are reminiscent of the goodies at the tea party. Imagine being seated at a table with a great view of the show and being served a box of tasty snacks and sweets. While not specifically a holiday event, it's a unique experience to share with people you love!
Patty, I'll sprinkle some pixie dust and make a wish that you'll be able to experience a lot of
holiday magic at the Disneyland Resort! Keep checking to learn whether or not the holiday tea experience is returning, and consider some of these other options to make your visit merry and bright.
