Hi Diana, welcome to planDisney!
You are going to have the best time! We have so many fond forever memories of bringing our kiddos to the
Disneyland Resort when they were babies. It truly was a special experience that we'll always keep with us!
And how fun that you're going to try out
Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes! This attraction does not have a height limit, so you can bring your 10-month-old baby with you. However, I do want to mention a few key points regarding this attraction. The 20-passenger vessels are real, free-floating canoes. There is no motor or track, and these canoes are powered entirely by paddles. But luckily the paddling by Guests is more for fun. The river guides that sit in the front and back of the canoe are actually capable of navigating the canoes themselves. But please know that small children will be required to wear life jackets.
If this makes you feel a bit nervous, there are a few other options to consider! The
Mark Twain Riverboat is beautiful and will provide you with a wonderful 14-minute trip around
Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island. Another option is the
Sailing Ship Columbia! The Columbia follows the same path as Mark Twain Riverboat and Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes!
And last but not least, I want to highlight the amazing
Baby Care Centers! When our kids were babies, we would visit the baby care centers constantly! They offer a clean and comfortable facility with changing rooms, nursing rooms, a feeding area with high chairs, and more. At Disneyland Park, it’s located at the end of
Main Street, U.S.A., next to
First Aid. At Disney California Adventure Park, the baby care center is located next to
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, across from
The Bakery Tour in Pacific Wharf.
Hope this information helped!
See ya real soon!
