Hi Maizie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I understand that keeping a budget at the forefront of planning is the most important thing to consider when planning a vacation. Even if you aren’t able to swing a visit to one of the four Theme Parks, there are still ways to get a little taste of the Walt Disney World Resort without a considerable cost.
One of my favorite ways to experience a bit of Disney magic is by visiting Disney Springs. This area is free to enter, and parking is even free in one of the ramps and the surface lot. Disney Springs is a shopping and dining area. There are so many enjoyable shops to visit, including my favorite store,
World Of Disney. Even if you don’t have a lot of money to spend, there are some cute trinkets, and small Disney themed gifts that won’t break the bank! You also may run into some free entertainment as you stroll through Disney Springs.
There is also a
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique located at
Disney Springs. This is the same boutique as the one in Magic Kingdom, except here you won’t need a park ticket to enter! Reservations are highly recommended and to save money, I would bring along your own outfit (Princess dress, Knight outfit, etc.) You still get the full experience you won’t have to pay for a costume!
There are also many quick-service areas to dine at, or you could bring your lunch to enjoy. We enjoy eating at
Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs, and even at T-Rex café. One last option is to explore some of the Resort hotels on property. I like to enjoy an order of beignets at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.
I hope that whatever you decide to do that you will create many magical memories!
