I was wondering about the military salute tickets, we are going in January and planning on coming back for another trip in May, would we be able to use the leftover days in May if we don’t use them all in January?

Thank you for thinking of planDisney for your insightful question about using Disney Military Salute tickets. Most importantly, thank you or your family member for the service to our great nation which makes you eligible for this wonderful offer on theme park tickets. Military families have a special place at Walt Disney World Resort, in its history and through special offers, so I’m honored to share the details with you.

Disney Military Salute tickets may be used over multiple visits, until all theme park days have been used and before they expire on December 20, 2024. For example, if you have a Six-day Disney Military Salute theme park ticket you may use two days in January and four in May. These special tickets do not expire within 14 days of first use as most do. Be sure to make your theme park reservations, as these non-dated tickets will still require this step in 2024 and please keep track of days used for your planning. You can see the number of days left on these tickets in the My Disney Experience App by navigating to Tickets and Passes and viewing the details of each ticket across the top of your ticket entitlements list.

Be sure to check out special offers on Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays for your military family, or availability at Shades of Green (an Armed Forces Recreation Center located on property). Combining special savings on both your tickets and hotel stay is a wonderful way to take advantage of these exclusive opportunities for our military members on Disney vacations.

Visiting Walt Disney World at the beginning of January is a wonderful way to kick off the new year! I love having a trip to look forward to after the holidays, and the weather is so nice in Florida during the winter months. When you return in May, spring will be in full bloom and there will all new activities and events to look forward to!
