Hi Set,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! We here at planDisney take our Disney headgear seriously. The right pair of ears can definitely make the outfit and add spirit to your day. They also double as great home decor!
One of our panelists was out in the park yesterday and spotted some of the ear hats at
Oswald’s in California Adventure. I was at the parks this weekend and spotted some ears at the Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland. Merchandise inventory always fluctuates, especially when new items or offers come in. For example,
Magic Key Holders were able to get a
key embroidered onto select clothing items, such as Mickey ear hats, so they were in high demand for a while.
The best place to look for hats are stores that offer embroidery. The next time you’re at the Disneyland Resort, I recommend you check out the Mad Hatter Shop in Disneyland, both on
Main Street and in
Fantasyland. If you’re in California Adventure, try
Kingswell Shop or
Seaside Souvenirs. If you're outside the park, you can visit
small world Gifts & Sundries in the Disneyland Hotel.
There are also some cool alternatives if you can’t find the classic Mickey ear hats. There’s a
baseball hat with Mickey ears on it, and these can also be embroidered. Additionally, there are leather Mickey ears that can be hand-painted. If you’re considering getting anything personalized, the items must be new, unworn, and have tags attached. Be sure to bring your receipt if you purchased your item at another store in the parks, Downtown Disney, or any of the hotels. Items must have been purchased within the last 30 days.
I hope this information is helpful, Set. I wish you better luck finding your dream pair of ears on your next visit. If you have any other questions or need assistance planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.
See you in the parks!
