Wondering about meal plans: Two children plus two adults. What meal plan would be best considering how kids eat vs what adults would enjoy, which plan would be best? Would purchasing a meal plan actually be of benefit? Thanks!

Hello DeeGee and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My family truly loves the Disney Dining Plans and our favorite is the "regular" Dining Plan which includes one quick service meal, one table service meal, one snack each day. You will also receive one Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug per person.  Using this plan allows me to easily budget for our trip and removes the worry of meal costs once I am actually in my happy place. We choose the regular Dining Plan because of the inclusion of a table service every day. We use those precious meal times to regroup and simply enjoy being together as a family. Also, even though our kids are older, we truly enjoy the character meals- they allow us to meet our favorite mice and chipmunks without having to wait in line!  We have found that no one goes hungry with this plan, as the portions at the Walt Disney World resort are ample and there are some fantastic snack choices- I recommend the carrot cake cookie at Disney's Hollywood Studios and the school bread you can find at the Norway Pavilion in Epcot.  Yum!  If you do choose a Dining Plan that includes table service options, I strongly recommend you make dining reservations for your top choices as soon as possible- you can start making those reservations 180 days from your check-in date.

I hope this helps you with your decision. If you have more questions, come on back to the Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon!
