Welcome to
planDisney, Jeff. The planner in me is seriously impressed that you're thinking so far ahead. My favorite part of going to Walt Disney World is staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. The
benefits from staying on site add so much extra pixie dust to your trip. Having just returned from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, I was reminded how much more immersive the entire experience is when you spend your whole trip on property.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is one of the most fascinating places to stay. My wife is from the Pacific North West and so I have a special soft spot for the pine and cypress forest vibe. I easily forget that I'm in Central Florida whenever I step foot on this scenic Resort. The wilderness must be explored! There are so many amazing and fun
things to do in this area of Walt Disney World that I'm sure you're in for some core memory days. Have you ever eaten at
Trail's End Restaurant? My mouth is starting to salivate just thinking about that pecan-smoked brisket, smoked chicken, and andouille sausage.
Jeff, you should be able to book room-only reservations
over the phone up to 500 days in advance. However, if you're looking at booking a vacation package for 2023, then those are likely to be released in the summer of 2022. Therefore, you're best visiting the
Walt Disney World website around that time.
Disney Park's Blog is also a great place to find the latest information on what's happening.
I hope that's helpful, Jeff. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest!
Mike
