Wondering how the marathons in Feb are going to affect the parks and if there is a schedule of what times the race will be in each park. Thanks. We go Feb 17-25th 2016

    Hi Kelly!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

RunDisney events are notorious for beginning extremely early in the morning.  While the runners may not be thrilled about this, there is a reason!   For Princess Half Marathon weekend (February 18-21), the parks will really only be affected on the day of the half marathon- Sunday, February 21.

The 5K and 10K (Friday and Saturday mornings) will run through Epcot, but they will be finished before the park opens.

The Half Marathon (Sunday morning) will run through the Magic Kingdom and be clear of runners before that park opens.  Epcot will be affected by runners until about 12:00 p.m.  Guests are still able to enter Epcot, and most of the park is not affected,  but you may want to avoid it Sunday morning if possible.

There will also be certain road closures on Sunday morning.  If you're staying at a Walt Disney World resort and have a vehicle, you can get road closure information at the front desk.

Other than that, your stay should be pretty unaffected.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip.
