I was wondering does Magic Kingdom still offer Character meals/breakfast where you sit and down and eat and mickey mouse, pluto, donald duck etc.., comes to everyone table, shake hands, take pics , entertain etc..,

    Hey there, hi there Willena!

Character dining is such a magical extra to add on to your Walt Disney World experience. It's a chance to see characters close up and get some great photos. Whether you are starting your day with a character breakfast, or enjoying a meal later in the day, it's sure to make you smile!

For awhile, all character dining experiences were on pause for health and safety reasons. I'm happy to tell you that they are starting to make a come back, although there are modifications. Right now characters don't come directly to your table. Instead they walk through the restaurant and guests are given a brief moment to interact from a distance and take a socially distant photo. Characters will not come to your table to give hugs and sign autographs at this time. However, things could change by the time you visit.

While there are no restaurants directly in Magic Kingdom where you can dine with Mickey and pals, Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort is open and taking reservations. Character dining with Mickey can also be found at Garden Grill in EPCOT, Tusker House at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Topolino's Terrace for breakfast at Disney's Riviera Resort.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
