Welcome back to planDisney, Nancy!
Ringing in a new year in The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds
practically perfect. In fact, the only thing that could possibly make the day more magical is venturing into Cinderella Castle, and your reservation at
Cinderella's Royal Table will allow you to do just that. How exciting!
Because holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are so magical (and popular), your concerns about Magic Kingdom Park reaching capacity are valid. I would definitely suggest arriving early and planning on staying in the theme park all day. I think your dining reservation will come at the perfect time for you to enjoy a midday break. If you're looking for a few other opportunities to rest your feet, the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover,
Mickey's PhilharMagic, and
Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor are some of my family's relaxing favorites during a full day of magic.
As I previously mentioned, Magic Kingdom Park is especially popular on New Year's Eve. This is largely due to the impressive fireworks display to mark the occasion that is included in the cost of regular theme park admission. That's right, Nancy, you'll be able to see the special New Year's Eve fireworks display at no additional cost to you!
Because these fireworks are so popular, if watching the display from Main Street, U.S.A. is important to you you'll want to secure your viewing spot well before the display begins. Personally, I prefer to enjoy the show with a bit more elbow room, so I opt to make my way to Fantasyland or Frontierland a few minutes before the show. Of course, no matter where you stand, you're sure to begin 2025 with a bit of pixie dust!
I hope this was helpful, Nancy, and that your holiday is filled with magical memories. If you are in need of additional assistance as you continue to plan, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
