    I was wondering, now that Magic Band 2 is out will people still be able to use their original bands that they have collected?

    Hi Terry!

    Absolutely!  I am not giving up my purple Haunted Mansion MagicBand.  MagicBands typically have a battery life of up to 2 years, so you can keep using your existing MagicBands until they don't work anymore.  

    If you have an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, you have the option of declining a new MagicBand if you'd like.  All Resort Guests are now being sent the MagicBand2, so if you'd like to try out the new ones, by all means customize and have them sent your way.
