I was wondering if you I get a magic band to use my memory maker with will I need one for each person in my group to get all our pictures our just one and will a magic band make it easier to use with a magic band?

Hey there, Evelyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so happy you stopped by to bring us your question. It's our pleasure to help you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World resort.

MagicBands are a magical, wearable technology that will become your key to the kingdom during your visit. When you link your MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account, your theme park tickets and any additional reservations, like your FastPass+, in addition to all your Disney PhotoPass Photos, will be linked to your account, allowing you to simply tap your band without having to dig out your ticket card.

Evelyn, you would be ok with just one MagicBand as long as everyone in your party is planning on staying together for all the pictures and attraction ride photos. If you choose to split up, simply ask any PhotoPass photographer for a PhotoPass Card that you can link to your account. Keep in mind that some attractions don't have a touchpoint at the end of the ride because the photos magically link to your account through your MagicBand. So, for these attractions, unless you ride together, not everyone will be captured.

I hope this answers your question! Be sure to remember to scan, scan, scan, after each photo taken! And ask your PhotoPass Photographers for Magic Shots. You never know what pixie dust might land on your pictures!

Have a magical day and do come back to see us real soon,
