Hi there Natalie, and welcome to planDisney!
Growing up feasting on Pan-Asian cuisine, I've always been a huge fan of
Morimoto Asia here at Disney Springs for the food offerings that you simply can't quite find anywhere else at
Walt Disney World Resort. Now the menu does have a tendency to vary a bit depending on when you visit, and beyond the fact that having dinner here currently requires the redemption of two
Disney Dining Plan Table-Service meals compared to lunch here are a few other key menu differences to keep in mind:
- The lunch menu at Morimoto Asia tends to have fewer offerings compared to what you'd find on the dinner menu, though the items that are the same don't change in price. On weekdays there are often Morimoto Lunch Specials that can vary from what you'd find online, so be sure to ask your server what they're currently serving and what can or cannot be redeemed with dining plans. In my experience, lunch here is a great chance to experience a variety of smaller plates and bites like Dim Sum or Sushi rolls before heading out on evening adventures!
- When it comes to dinner however, I personally find that folks and families alike sometimes have a tendency to want to dress up a bit more beyond your typical casual daytime theme park outfits - though this isn't a hard rule that is observed. The dinner menu features some very excellent standout offerings that aren't available for lunch like the Japanese A-5 Wagyu prepared tableside; since menu offerings and policies can and do vary without prior notice at select partner establishments - especially at Disney Springs - you'll just want to confirm with your server whether anything isn't quite covered by your dining plan.
I hope that this was helpful Natalie! I recommend checking the Morimoto Asia website directly as that often has the most up-to-date menu offerings and specials to determine whether there's anything exclusive to dinner that you've got your heart (or your stomach) set on enjoying! If you're keen on something that feels a bit different to the other options and deliciously authentic, ordering the Morimoto Peking Duck that you can assemble yourself into delectable morsels is something I highly recommend! Do come back again to planDisney for any more tips or tricks about food or otherwise, and be sure to
follow along with Disney Eats on the Disney Parks Blog ahead of your visit later this year.
Hope you have a mouth-watering meal at Morimoto Asia!
