Hello! Just wondering if the lower attendance numbers make it easier to hit two parks in one day? We are coming for a short trip and would really like to visit Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, but may only have one day to do it. Any input?

    Hi Andy!

Thanks for sending your question to the planDisney Panel!  I see that your trip is around the corner! How exciting! You are correct on the lower attendance numbers. I just returned from a 5-day trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and was amazed at how well they have adjusted to the current situation and how safe I felt with the precautions taken. One of the reasons for the lower attendance is due to the new Disney Park Reservation System, which would require you to make a reservation to visit a particular park. Unfortunately, you can only reserve one park per day.  Therefore, you would have to choose between Magic Kingdom or Disney's Animal Kingdom (and also based on park availability for your date of visit). The park hopping option has been put on hold. Keep in mind that with the current pandemic, things can change at any time and I encourage you to familiarize yourself with this page: Update on Walt Disney World Resort operations, including Theme Parks and Water Parks. This is where you can find the latest news regarding the reopening and the conditions to visit.

Quick tip: Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app on your mobile phone before your trip! Here you can see wait times for attractions and even where you can place a mobile order for many of the quick service locations!

Andy, thanks so much for stopping by the planDisney Panel. If you need more help planning your vacation, please feel free to send me your question!
