Hi there. Was just wondering when looking on the dining plans on the PDF online; it specifies that we are allowed a entree and dessert. Do you think we would be able to change the dessert for a starter instead? Thank you!

Hi Lucy! Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I happen to be a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  I purchase it each trip we take to Walt Disney World. It's just that much more relaxing having everything, including meals, paid for ahead of time.

When using a table service credit, you are entitled to an entree, non-alcoholic beverage and a dessert. Unfortunately, you aren't able to substitute an appetizer for the dessert portion of the credit.  If you are just too full for dessert, you can choose to forgo it if you wish.

I hope this helps clear up the confusion.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
