Was wondering, how long does DisneyWorld parks in Orlando stay decorated for Christmas? Planning a trip December 30th - January 5th? Will we still see decorations?

    Welcome to planDisney, Victoria!

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year at The Most Magical Place on Earth. My heart is warmed by all the merry music, festive décor, seasonal snacks, and special events. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is my favorite event of the year. But I just love being in the Walt Disney World Resort during the Holiday season. There's just something about it that's extra magical.

Victoria, there's no official date that the Christmas decorations are taken down (at least, not a date that's been made known to the public). Typically, the decorations start coming down in the first week of January. From looking at your arrival date, I think you'll get at least a couple of days to enjoy the decorations. With the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend happening January 4-8, I would imagine the Christmas decorations being down by then. Either way, I'll be wishing upon a star that you're able to get your fill of festive décor, Victoria.

Since you'll be arriving on December 30, I would recommend visiting EPCOT for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. You'll be able to enjoy festival food around World Showcase at the holiday kitchens before watching the enchanting Candlelight Processional

I hope that's helpful, Victoria. I'm so glad you chose to be our Guest. Have a great trip! See ya real soon.
