Hi! I was wondering how long Discovery Island trail, Cretaceous trail, Maharajah jungle trek and Pangani forest are? (Or how long they would take to walk with smaller children). I'm trying to decide how much time I should plan on spending in them.

I can see Paula you will be spending a wonderful day in the Animal Kingdom park!

The trails in this park are not long and a great chance to see some animals that otherwise you would miss.  the Maharajah Jungle trek is where you can find the gorillas.  If they are active you might find yourself standing there for 15 minutes or more watching their antics.  If they are sleeping you will see them and move on quickly. This will be the longest trail in the park and if you stop to watch and observe it can take you at least 30 minutes.

The Pangani Forest trail is found in the Asia area and it is where the tigers live.  Again if they are active you will probably spend more time there but if not this trail can easily be done in about 15 minutes.

Cretaceous trail is a very short trail and takes no time at all.  Discovery Island is where you will find the Tree of Life and it is fun to walk and spot the animals carved into it.  You can see this from afar or close up and depending on how much you want to see is how long it will take.  Many people unfortunately pass by all of these areas and miss these sights all together.  I suggest you determine what trails to do that day depending on your children's interest and moods.  Sometimes a nice stroller ride to relax them after an exciting attraction is the perfect fix.
