Hi Leah,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you've stopped by with a question about the Canadian Resident ticket offer, it's a great way to save. My family took advantage of the most recent offer for our summer trip, and purchasing the tickets was straightforward.
The current Canadian Resident theme park ticket offer is for a date-based ticket and is based on tickets that have start dates between November 9 and December 12, 2025 and January 4 and September 26, 2026. The ticket expiration date will be based on the number of days you purchase, and you can choose which days within the use window you'd like to visit the theme parks.
At this time, Disney hasn’t announced a firm end date for when these tickets must be purchased. In the past, we’ve seen Disney provide updates and share a clear purchase deadline on the official website when the offer is nearing its close, so I recommend keeping an eye out as your travel plans come together.
You can add some more magic to your tickets by including any of the following options:
- Park Hopper option
- Water Park and Sports Option
- Park Hopper Plus Option
Canadian Resident tickets must be activated before entering a theme park. To do this, simply present proof of Canadian residency at any theme park ticket window, Guest Relations location, or at the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs. When my family arrives at Walt Disney World the day before our first park visit, we like to stop by Disney Springs and activate our tickets. That way, we’re all set to head straight into the park the next morning.
Tip: Save on currency exchange fees by using Canadian Disney Gift Cards for your vacation! These gift cards help you avoid the extra charges that often accompany credit card payments. Canadian Disney Gift Cards can be purchased at major grocery and pharmacy retailers.
I hope this helps you as you continue planning your magical April visit! If you have any more questions, we’d be delighted to help you make the most of your Disney vacation.
Happy planning,
Candace
