Hi I was wondering how long in between announcing tickets for special events do they start selling? For instance the Oogie Boogie bash? Even though it hasn’t been announced yet if they were to announce tomorrow is it usually a week before beginning to sell

Ghoulish greetings and welcome to planDisney, Dakota. We're so glad you found us to ask this question that we're simply dying to answer.

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite times of the year to visit and one of the reasons why is Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. A spell will be cast over Disney California Adventure Park and it will be Oogie's turn to boogie. While we know all of the party dates, we still don't know when ticket sales will open for this spooktacular event.

Last year, the details for this bash were posted to Disney Parks Blog on May 31st with ticket sales opening on June 29th. While there's typically at least a few days' notice before ticket sales open, this can change from year to year. I recommend keeping a watchful eye on Disney Parks Blog as well as following @disneyparks on Instagram for any news and updates. We're almost halfway through June so let's hope we get an update soon.

Well, Dakota, I wish I had a better answer to share with you. I hope the information I've provided is still helpful as you are making preparations to attend the bash. I'll be waiting on pins and needles along with you for any spellbinding news and announcements.

    Happy haunting!
