    Hello, I was wondering if you can link a gift card to your magic band? We were planning on buying a Disney gift card to pay for most of our trip.

    Thanks for visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! 

    On our family Disney vacations, we always bring along plenty of Disney gift cards to use throughout the parks and resorts. This helps us to stay on budget.

    Currently, at this time, Disney gift cards can not be added to your MagicBand. However, you can still use your MagicBand to make purchases throughout the day. Once you arrive back to your Walt Disney World Resort after a magical time in the parks, take your gift card to the front desk and have a Cast Member apply all of your daily charges to one or more of your Disney Gift Cards. 

    *Pixie Dust Pointer- Be sure to check your purchases daily with a Cast Member at the front desk of your resort if you plan to use your MagicBand often for food, snacks, or gifts. It typically takes a day or two for any charges to be applied to the debit or credit card attached to your MagicBand.
