Merry Christmas to you, Melissa!
I love your state! The Beehive State was my home for yEARs, through university and medical school. It holds such a special place in my hEARt, and one of the reasons I love it so much is it’s proximity to the
Happiest Place on EARth! My family visits Walt Disney World Resort every other Christmas, and it is magical! The same applies to the West Coast. While at Disneyland Resort, you will be surrounded by “new” family and friends, and you all will revel in sparkling lights, delicious treats, and magical experiences.
Traditionally, the crowds on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are some of the busiest of the yEAR. (As I said, everyone has the same idea -
Christmas with The Mouse!) But never fEAR, I have a few tips to help you manage your day!
First -
Disney MaxPass! You can save time in line by pre-planning your
FASTPASS selections, and then skipping the standby queue. You also get unlimited
Disney PhotoPass downloads, which I can assure you is priceless during the holidays! Second - advanced dining reservations. Reserve a restaurant where you can enjoy
a delicious holiday meal, and use it as a break from the crowds — a special bonus when you dine with
Minnie Mouse at The Plaza Inn. You will enjoy a festive holiday lunch and then reserved viewing for my absolute favorite parade of all -
A Christmas Fantasy Parade. Watch out for the Toy Soldiers - they are hilarious!
Finally -
stay on property! I love the Resort hotels all yEAR long, but I adore them at Christmas. They are gorgeously decorated and give you access to
Extra Magic Hour and
Magic Morning. Both of these options get you into the Park an hour before other Guests, and during the holidays, that
extra time is priceless!
Melissa, if you have any other questions, or need more holiday tips, you know where to find us!
Ho, Ho, Ho!
