Hello! I was wondering can you leave a park on a base park ticket to go to dining reservations and then return later that night if the park has extra magic hours?

    Hi Jilian,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It's no secret that there's a lot that I love about Walt Disney World, and one of the things I love the most is that there is magic all around — including all the great experiences outside the theme parks. That certainly includes dining experiences.  Some of my favorite restaurants like California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Cítricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are just outside Magic Kingdom. We often enjoy our day in the park, get away for dinner, and return for more magic. Yes, you absolutely can exit and re-enter the theme parks. And if you are a Guest staying at one of the participating Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you can enjoy Extra Magic Hours. We always make a point to check out the park hours and the scheduled Extra Magic Hours — either online at the Park Hours calendar or using the My Disney Experience Mobile App — to see when Extra Magic Hours are offered for the theme parks.

Jilian, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation filled with long and magical days (and some fantastic dining, of course).

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
