    Hi! I was just wondering if any of you know how I can go about getting a pin code. We are going back to WDW the first week of December 2013 and would like to save some money. Is it completely random or can I request one from WDW reservations? Thanks

    Hi Regan!
    Pin codes are completely random and no one really knows how or to whom that they are assigned. A few tips to help make sure you might receive a pin code are to make sure that all of your information is up to date on your Disney.com account.  Sometimes guests may have more than one email account and could possibly miss out on a savings opportunity by not checking the correct email.  Also, make sure to put your name on any of Disney's mailing lists, order the new vacation planning video and customizable park maps.  Typically when signing up for any of those, you will be asked when you are planning on taking your next Walt Disney World vacation.  This will let Disney know the time of year you are considering and if a discount is available it might help you to receive a special pin.  Remember, there is no way to guarantee that you will receive a pin code, but it certainly can't hurt to make sure that you are signed up for everything.
    There are always ways to save at Walt Disney World, especially since you are giving yourself enough time to plan.  Check out the special offers page for Walt Disney World for the latest  discounts available.  Another great resource is mousesavers.com, they have a historical discount chart to let you know of all the savings that were available the past several years.  There may not always be the same discount as previous years, but this will give you a good idea of discounts  that are typically issued.  Thank you for visiting us and we are always thrilled to answer any questions that you may have!
