We where wondering like we know how crowed it get for new years in disney, what resort would be recommended to stay for new years that the family and kids can enjoy with out having to go to Mk or the other parks. thank you :)

    Hi Lesly!

New Year's is a very popular time at Walt Disney World.  There is a good chance one or more of the theme parks may close temporarily due to capacity.  In my opinion, the best resorts to stay at during New Years would be one of the Magic Kingdom Area resorts.  My top choice would be Disney's Polynesian Resort.  We absolutely love the relaxed feeling of the resort, fabulous dining options, recreation options, and close proximity to Magic Kingdom Park.  The best "perk" is being able to watch the fireworks shows right from the resort beach!  They even pump in the music on the beach so you're able to get the full experience without having to be inside the park.  It's incredible.

If you're looking for a moderate resort choice, I would go with the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  It's also in the Magic Kingdom Area.  Fort Wilderness has amazing recreation options as well and the campground section will be filled with amazingly decorated RV's and campers.  It's so much fun to go over and check them all out!

The new Disney's Art of Animation Resort is another great choice!  This resort offers both family suites and standard value room accommodations.  You'll feel like your're stepping into your favorite Disney and Disney/Pixar animated films.  The Big Blue Pool in the Fining Nemo section of the resort has to be been to be believed!

I hope this helps you narrow down some resort choices, Lesly.  Please come back and see me again if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day!
