Disney’s
Oceaneer Club and
Lab are the perfect hangout spots for kids ages 3 to 10 who are fully toilet-trained. My own kids spent hours there every day on our last sailing because they loved it that much! There’s no fee and no need for reservations. You can usually pre‑register during the
Online Check‑In process, or you can stop by on Embarkation Day to complete the paperwork and pick up your child’s Youth Activities wristband.
On the other hand, Tweens have their own dedicated space at
Edge, and teens will love the activities and relaxed vibe at
Vibe. Both offer guided activities, chill spaces, and even ship‑wide adventures!
For little ones ages 6 months to 3 years (or 1 to 3 years on Transatlantic, Hawaii, and Panama Canal itineraries),
"it’s a small world" Nursery! is a sweet, nurturing space with age‑appropriate crafts and activities. This is the only youth club with a fee, and reservations are first‑come, first‑served during the open house on Embarkation Day or anytime during your cruise.
My family always visits the youth clubs together during Open House hours on the first day. It’s a great way to explore the spaces, help the kids get comfortable, and see what they might enjoy later. If you can, I highly recommend booking Palo brunch for the adults while the kids are happily playing. It makes for the perfect mid‑cruise date!
As for transportation, I suggest calling
Disney Cruise Line directly to review your options. My family typically stays at one of the designated pre‑cruise hotels, like a resort at Walt Disney World or the Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport. In my experience, transportation is usually limited to the hotels listed on the
Disney Cruise Line website.
