Hi there, Amber!
Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you have a Disney Cruise Line planned! What a magical vacation this will be and the fact that it is also a Very Merrytime voyage will be so much fun! All Disney Cruise Line vacations are MAGICal, FANTAStic, full of WONDER and a DREAM come true, but there is something extra about the
holiday-themed itineraries…and you will certainly end your vacation in the holiday spirit!
I am so glad you sailed by with your question about utilizing the onboard Youth Clubs for port days because yes, most definitely can your little Mouseketeer go to the
Oceaneer Club or
Oceaneer Lab while you enjoy an excursion off the ship! No reservations are needed and all you would need to do is check him into the Youth Club before meeting your group onboard for your excursion. I do recommend informing the Youth Counselors (and him…unless you think that would cause a problem) that you will be getting off the ship and then they will know when to expect you back! If it happens to be during lunchtime, food will be offered to your little one, also!
We have often utilized the Oceaneer Club and Lab (and nursery when our guys were smaller) to enjoy some adventure on land. We knew they were perfectly happy and so well taken care of that we had no problems leaving them there! And my boys often prefer it because the Youth Clubs aren’t as crowded on port days, so they get lots of attention!
So, go ahead…plan that
Port Adventure and have a great time! Wishing you the most magical of adventures at sea! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
