Hello. Just wondering if kids (or adults) can "chicken-out" of a ride at the last minute? My son want to ride Everest, but I think he's a little apprehensive. Can he stand in line and change his mind before getting on? Thanks!

    Hi Shelly!

I have great news for you!  Most of the rides in Walt Disney World, especially the thrill rides have a "chicken exit" where guests can exit if they decide that they do not want to ride that particular ride.  All you have to do is notify a cast member that you and you son do not wish to ride Expedition Everest and they will show where the "chicken exit" is.  If your son does decide to ride Expedition Everest, he may want ride it again and again because the first time is the most scary due to the unknown.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical!
