I was wondering if the jet ski and stingray port adventures in castaway cay are now in operation.

    Hi there, Roderick!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your Disney Cruise Line vacation will be here before you know it and I am sure you are more than excited…and you definitely should be!  You are going to have the most magical eight-night voyage and make some really FANTAStic memories!

In these last few weeks you definitely want to firm up any Port Adventures and ensure that all your “Onboard Fun” is booked so that once you get onboard the majority of the planning is done and you just get to enjoy yourself!  Now, there will definitely be A LOT more activities and entertainment that you do not need to reserve ahead of time so don’t worry if you don’t think you have enough planned ahead of time!  There will undoubtedly be more than enough to keep you as busy (or not busy) as you choose!

I reached out to Disney Cruise Line to inquire about Castaway Ray’s Stingray Adventure (C13) and the Guided Watercraft Ski Adventure (C12) excursions at Castaway Cay and they informed me that they are beginning to add this as an option for Guests to book for future cruises.  If you cannot see it as an option under Port Adventures, then unfortunately, it is not currently scheduled to be available during your voyage.  The Cast Member did state that they are in the process of adding this excursion back in and to check back in the coming weeks before your voyage in case they do offer it for your specific voyage.  Additionally, it’s never a bad idea to inquire at the Port Adventures desk once you are onboard as things are always subject to change!

If swimming with the stingrays and personal watercraft adventures are on your bucket list, I would recommend considering another port of call to do these adventures!  The Stingray Swim and Snorkel in Antigua (A02) or Bird Island and Stingray Swim (A31) look like great alternatives as does the Reef Riders Adventure (A28)!

Hopefully these next few weeks go by quickly and you will soon be onboard having the BEST time ever!  Please come back with any last-minute questions you may have!

    Happy Sailing!
