Hi there! Just wondering if items at Karamell-Küche in Epcot qualify as snacks under the Disney dining plan?

Guten tag, Alicia! Willkommen to planDisney!

I love a good Disney Dining Plan question. In my opinion, choosing dining locations and mapping out a snack strategy are some of the most important parts of planning a trip to Walt Disney World. You need a lot of energy if you’re going to walk around the theme parks all day, and luckily there are a lot of delicious options to keep you fueled up and ready to enjoy each magical experience.

Karamell-Küche at EPCOT is full of amazing caramel treats, and I’m happy to report that many items can be purchased with snack credits as part of the Disney Dining Plan. Qualifying items usually have the Disney Dining Plan logo next to them on the menu, but feel free to double-check that an item is included by asking a friendly Cast Member. My fellow planDisney panelist Mandy recently visited Karamell-Küche and the gingerbread caramel cookie sandwich looks especially delectable.

As you snack your way around the world, remember that you can monitor your Disney Dining Plan credits on the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Just go to the “My Resort Stay” section and then select “Check Dining Plan” to see how many snack and dining credits you have left. You can also see your remaining credits on most dining receipts or ask a Cast Member at Guest Relations to look up your balance.

I hope you have an amazing summer visit to Walt Disney World, Alicia. If you have any more questions—or are looking for recommendations on where to use all those snack credits—just come right back to planDisney and ask away!

    Magical travels!
