Hi, I was wondering... I’m Florida Resident Gold Annual Pass-holder, does Disney provide discounts if you go during a black out date? Do you pay the difference or full price?

Hey there, Jose! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It’s always a pleasure chatting with a fellow Annual Passholder and Florida Resident! I love all the special rates we get as FL residents on select annual passes and park tickets! It’s a great value that allows me to visit the magic more often. And that value cannot be beat!

Jose, like you there have been times when I have wanted to visit, but it was during blackout dates. You have several options. You can definitely upgrade your annual pass. Often this will be your best value! If you choose this route, do it early as the cost will be the same no matter when you upgrade.

You can also consider Florida Resident Disney Select Tickets. These specially discounted tickets also offer a great value and when you purchase the multi-day options, those days don’t have to be used consecutively. So, they could be a good option to fill in those gaps during your blockout dates.

Now, go crunch those numbers as I send you pixie dust so you get the most magic your of your Disney dollar! Don’t forget to check the great benefits and discounts included with your AP so you can take advantage of those special offers during your next visit!

Thanks again for stopping by! Please come back and see us again real soon,
