Hello! I was wondering if i'm able to upgrade my base park tickets to park hoppers online. I haven't been able to find the option anywhere.

Hey, hey Sabrina, I am so glad you stopped back by planDisney for more advice on planning your enchanted Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. As you know, there is so much to see, do, smell, and, of course, eat at the "Most Magical Place on Earth."

Why play at one Disney Theme Park when you can open up "a whole new world" by hopping to all of them? Let's help you find the "Change Ticket" option online and in the My Disney Experience app. Not all tickets are upgradable (e.g.; complimentary tickets) so if you have a standard theme park ticket, here is how you add the Park Hopper Option to your existing theme park ticket.

On the My Disney Experience app (the easier method):

    • Feature Menu Icon (☰) on the lower right
    • Select "My Tickets & Passes"
    • Find the ticket and select underneath the ticket
    • Select the opinion you want

    My Disney Experience Online:

    • Log in to your My Disney Experience account
    • Scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section
    • Click on the small subtopic "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker"
    • Find the ticket and click "Change Ticket"
    • Select the option you want
If there is a problem then you may contact Guest Services at 407-939-5277.

Just know that when you upgrade your ticket you are upgrading it for the entire length of the ticket so be sure to do it before you activate it by entering your first theme park.

Since you are headed to the House of the Mouse during September be sure to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I know, Halloween will be over a month away but there is nothing more fun than the treat trails and special Disney Characters at the party. It is also a great way to test-drive your costume for the big day on October 31.

Sabrina, I hope this information is helpful as you plan your fall Disney adventure. Please feel free to stop by again and write me back directly for more Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
