Hello, was wondering what ID is required for adults and children under 18. I will be on The Wonder Cruise from Sydney to Hobart. Thank you

Ahoy, Leanne! Talk about a brilliant way to cruise into 2026! When I glanced at your itinerary, each port of call was indeed calling me. I now have another case of "Cruise Envy."

Since the 5-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruise from Sydney stops in Hobart and Eden, you can check the Passports, Visas & Citizenship Documentation site for information on cruises in Australia (excluding stops in New Caledonia). Currently, the guidelines state that adults need an original passport valid for at least 6 months after sailing or a government-issued photo ID. Youth ages 17 and younger can use either of these forms of identification or an original government-issued birth certificate. It's always a good idea to double-check closer to your cruise, just to be sure, as the regulations are subject to change.

Have you cruised on the Disney Wonder before? This ship holds a special place in my heart. We were on the Wonder to Alaska and sailed with her another time without kids (mine still have not forgiven me, but it was totally worth it). This ship lets the good times roll with Tiana's Place. The live jazz, the Mardi Gras celebration and the menu inspired by Tiana herself... this is one of my favorite dining experiences.

Your itinerary has two days at sea, which is practically perfect, with so much time to enjoy the onboard activities. The Wonder is home to Frozen, A Musical Spectacular, Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic, and The Golden Mickeys – three stage shows that will have you singing like Elsa, swinging like Tarzan and dancing like Belle.

Don't miss some amazing adult-exclusive offerings, like divine dining at Palo and melting away the hours at Senses Spa. Check the dates and mark your calendar for when your window opens to book Port Adventures and onboard fun.

Leanne, I hope this information helps as you plan for an unbelievable adventure at sea. You certainly have my heart dreaming right now. If we can help with any other questions, we are always happy to see you here at planDisney.

It's always a good time for some Vitamin SEA!
