I was wondering, my husband always gets a DAS pass due to his disability. But my 4 year old has sensory issues, and after our last trip and problems that occurred I feel he needs one as well. How does that work is more than one family member needs a DAS?

    Hiya Chelsea!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad you decided to stop by and ask us your question, and I am honoured to be a part of your planning process! One of my favourite things about the Disney parks is that everyone is welcome and able to enjoy the Disney magic, no matter their circumstances.

To answer your question, multiple members in your party can sign up for the Disability Access Service (DAS) if they need to. That way, if a different adult accompanies your child, you will still be able to use his DAS service and not compromise on any of the magic! Instead of registering your little one at Guest Relations, you can even make this process easier by scheduling a video call at home! Simply visit the Disability Access Service website and Request a Video Live Chat. You will also be able to use this occasion to schedule advanced selections of attractions, which can be made at least two days in advance. These advanced selections can also be made in person at a Guest Relations window in person in addition to the return times you will be able to schedule on the day of your visit. I would also recommend making sure that your whole party is linked together on your Family & Friends Lists so that the members with DAS can make selections for your whole party.

Now, I thought I would share some of the things that your party will be able to enjoy without having to wait. One of my favourite things to experience at the Walt Disney World Resort is the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Indeed, if you would like to try some of the food booths around the World Showcase or need an activity to pass the time until your next return time, I highly recommend participating in the Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt. All you have to do is purchase a map and stickers at select merchandise stores and find the statues of Spike the Bee around the World Showcase! This activity is especially great for little ones, but I think it is a lot of fun for dreamers of all ages.

I hope this was helpful, Chelsea, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. We always love to help our best buds! (Get it?)

    Have a magical dai-sy,
