Hi, I am wondering at which hotel I should stay that is most comfortable for my family. I will only be staying for a weekend, so I need to stay at the best hotel there is for my family. I have looked at Disney All-Star Movies Resort, but is it a good one?

    Hi Elizabeth,

All the Disney resorts are fun and comfortable.  However, you will find that resorts in the deluxe category will offer the most luxurious amenities in addition to close proximity to at least one of the four major Disney theme parks.  Being close to the parks can be an important time saver, especially when you are staying for such a short period of time.  If it is within your budget, I recommend that you select a deluxe Disney resort.  Among the many beautiful resorts in this category, I have found Disney's Wilderness Lodge to be the most reasonably priced.  It has an amazing theme based on America's national parks and is situated very close to the Magic Kingdom.  Give it a look!

If, however, Disney's All Star Movies Resort is a better fit for your family's budget, I have no doubt that you will enjoy your time there.  The resort has larger-than-life decorations that will surely appeal to all members of your family.  Depending on when you plan to travel, you may also want to consider Disney's brand new Art of Animation Resort.  (This resort is also in the value category of Disney resorts.)  Several of my friends on the Moms Panel experienced a preview tour of this incredible new resort (scheduled to open in late May) this past weekend and were very impressed with the decor and theming of this resort.

Let us know if you have additional questions as you plan your trip.  We'd be happy to help!
