Hello. I was just wondering about hotel check-in. What time does that usually happen? We are trying to plan our flights and aren't sure what to do if we get to Disney hours before check-in time.

    Hi Tara,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

We typically arrive in the Central Florida area very early in the morning to start our Disney fun as soon as possible. Although check-in time is typically at 4:00 pm at most Disney Resort Hotels, I’m happy to say that even if you arrive well before your check-in time, you can still enjoy all of the amenities that your Resort Hotel has to offer. Plus, you can always leave your luggage with Bell Services if your room isn’t ready yet, and then head out to the Theme Parks right away, if you’ve purchased Theme Park Tickets for that day.

My advice would therefore be to plan the flight schedule that best suits your family’s needs (either in terms of timing or budget). Even if you get to Walt Disney World Resort before your room is ready, there will be plenty of fun waiting for you, regardless of when you arrive!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
