Yo ho, yo ho, Salvador! Welcome to planDisney.
I'm glad you've chosen to be our Guest. I bet you're so excited about your upcoming trip to The Happiest Place on Earth. One of my favorite attractions at Disneyland Park is
Pirates of the Caribbean (which is far superior to the one at Walt Disney World, in my opinion). I love the beginning of this ride as you float down the bayou. It's so relaxing and enchanting. You get a great view of
Blue Bayou Restaurant to the right of your boat.
Speaking of Blue Bayou Restaurant, securing a dining reservation this late in the game is going to be difficult, Salvador. Guests are able to make dining reservations 60 days in advance of their visit. Blue Bayou is an extremely popular restaurant. Therefore, tables usually get reserved as soon as reservations open. However, all is not necessarily lost. Sometimes people cancel their reservations for a variety of reasons. Therefore, if you keep checking you might find a table suddenly becomes available. I would even keep checking the day before your visit.
Another idea is to venture over to Blue Bayou first thing in the morning when you arrive at Disneyland Park. You can join the
walk-up list by scanning the QR code located near the restaurant entrance. This is a great way to get a table if you don't have reservations.
I hope that's helpful, Salvador. If you're not able to eat at Blue Bayou, you can always try
French Market Restuarant, which is also located in
New Orleans Square. This quick-service restaurant has some delicious food options. My family really enjoyed dining here this summer. We brought our food outside and ate it right by Rivers of America. It was wonderful!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Salvador! See ya real soon.
