Hi I was wondering if you can help, we have a reservation for August 2021 should of been 2020. Looking at moving it again to 2022, can we change it to a hotel thats not currently open? How do we price it up? Thanks in advance

    Hello Joe,
Thanks so much for returning to planDisney with another super question about planning towards your magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
As the current UK Panelist I totally understand your valid enquiry about the unavoidable replanning of international travel during 2020. My own family, just like yours and so many other Guests of Mickey Mouse also had to alter our much awaited holiday plans during this past yEar too. However, it is really exciting to hEar you do still have a secured Walt Disney World Resort summer holiday already booked for August 2021!
On your behalf I've taken a quick peek at the currently accessible bookings via the Walt Disney Travel Company website and can see that presently Guests may only make Resort hotel reservations up until the end of December 2021. At this time when things seem to be changing quite frequently, my best suggestion would be to keep a close eye on any Resort updates or announcements made on this handy Resort Hotels - Know Before You Go link.
I have another suggestion on adjusting any already made Walt Disney World Resort reservations which would be for you to speak directly with a knowledgable Cast Member by dialling the free-to-call phone number contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Contact Us page. Don't forget to have your reservation number close to hand prior to calling, plus a pen and paper to write down any new pricing details Cast Members may be able to share.
2021 is truly set to be a wonderful yEar to discover all the enchantment of Walt Disney World Resort and for further inspiration you may wish to check out this recent Disney Parks Blog - 21 Ways to Kick Off 2021 with Magic at Walt Disney World Resort
Whatever you finally decide, I'm sure your jolly holiday to Walt Disney World Resort will be practically perfect in every way.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
