Greetings and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tracey!
It is a pleasure to answer your very first question and help you plan your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I have also rescheduled my vacation to August so we are in this together!
I am excited to be able to return to my happy place to create more magical memories with loved ones, but most importantly the Walt Disney World Resort is looking after all its Guests upon
reopening by introducing health and safety measures according to guidance from health authorities and appropriate government agencies. As a result, restaurants will be limited in capacity to promote social distancing, and some locations may remain closed. That is why at this time all
existing dining reservations and Disney Dining Plans included in vacation packages have been cancelled –
dining plans will temporarily no longer be offered. I am happy to share that when reservations resume you will be able to make
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance.
Tracey, the Walt Disney World Resort is reaching out to Guests affected by the recent updates in an effort to offer more options, including refunds, so stay tuned for more information. We all have questions about how the recent announcements will affect our upcoming visits, that is why I highly recommend visiting
DisneyWorld.com/updates to find the latest updates on operations and other offerings. If you need further assistance regarding your reservation, please contact the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 939-1936 or your travel professional.
Thank you for sending your question our way! I hope this helps you while planning and please, be on the lookout for information over the next few weeks on how to use the theme park reservation system!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
