Greetings, Isabelle, welcome to planDisney!
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are set in acres and acres of cypress and pine forest, and those comfortable cabins are my way of roughing it in the woods.
Guests of
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort will have the opportunity to enjoy two pools, Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool.
Meadow Swimmin’ Pool features a 67-foot long corkscrew waterslide, and Guests can relax in the whirlpool spa, if tummies get rumbly, there is a nearby snack shop. Guests can also leisure around the
Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool which tends to be more serene and quiet.
As far as swimming at another Disney Resort hotel, such as
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, that would not be possible in order to make sure that Guests of that Disney Resort hotel have access to their own swimming pool. As well, there is touch-point access at the entrance gate.
If you really want to enjoy plenty of water fun, I invite you to head over to the
Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks - Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, you can add the Water Park Option to your theme park tickets in your
Disney account, or call
Walt Disney World Resort “Tickets,” or at the Concierge Desk of your hotel.
Isabelle, I invite you to look over
recreation at The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort - one of my favourites are the pony rides along scenic trails over at
Tri-Circle-D Ranch.
Pro Tip - Complete your Disney Resort hotel online check-in and bypass the Front Desk with
Disney’s Direct-To-Room Service, and add your theme park admission to your digital wallet on your mobile device with
Disney MagicMobile Service.
I hope this information is helpful, Isabelle, please stop by planDisney for any other planning questions - thank you!
Best Disney wishes from a fellow Canadian Disney fan ~ Jacqueline
