Hi I was wondering if there was a grocery service to use to get groceries delivered to your resort hotel before you get there or soon after arriving?

    Hi Maryjane!

Many guests love to have their shopping done before they arrive so it does not take time away from their vacation.

Please remember that if you have booked a traditional Resort Hotel room you will only have a very small refrigerator for your use. It is not recommended for highly perishable foods or drinks as they generally don’t stay really cold. If you are in a DVC room with a kitchen then you will have a full size refrigerator at your disposal making it very easy to keep foods safely.

There is a grocery delivery service that I highly recommend called gardengrocers.com. You can check them out on line and go through their wide variety of goods that they offer to deliver. It is best to do this as soon as you can as their delivery dates can fill up fast and they can only deliver so many each day.

The items that are offered include foods but also many other things that will make packing much easier for you. They will have sun screen and personal care products and much more. I do suggest you look over your order carefully to avoid the mistake I once made. I thought I had ordered 10 bananas and instead when I walked into my Fort Wilderness Cabin I found ten bunches laying all over the counter! I was giving away bananas to anyone who would take them from housekeeping to bus drivers. It certainly is a Disney memory!

Most resorts will not deliver to the rooms until you have checked in. This is to avoid room changes with the groceries in the wrong place. Bell Services will be glad to retrieve your order and bring them to you immediately. All resorts have a place to keep cold and frozen items until you arrive.
