    Hi I was wondering about the gratuity for table ServiceMeals We would be using 4dinning credits 2adult and 2kids but technically a party of 6 when booking with two 2yr olds with no dinning plan would we still be charged the 18% as a party of six or not

    Hi Sheena, 

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I am happy to see that you are planning ahead.  It will make your visit to Walt Disney World Resort much more enjoyable.

    When booking a Table-Service dining reservation, the gratuity is added automatically to parties of 6 people or more, regardless of the age of guests.  So even though you will have two two year olds that will not require to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, they are still a part of your dining party making your reservation for 6 guests.  Because of this, 18% gratuity will be added automatically to your cheque at the end of your meal.  Please keep in mind that the gratuity will not include the two year olds buffet, however if you choose to order out of pocket at another Table-Service location, the extra cost will also be included in calculating your 18% gratuity.  

    I have always found the service at Walt Disney World Dining locations to be fantastic, so the 18% gratuity is well deserved.  The Cast Members work incredibly hard and go above and beyond to make sure our dining experience is magical.
