    Hi, I was wondering where to go or what ship(s) are recommended for a girl under 2? We think going to the parks would be too much for her or a waste of money. Is there much to do for a kid her age or is it really just a splash pad and a nursery?

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hear that you're thinking about embarking on a high-seas adventure with your little one. We started cruising with my son when he was 6 months old! I have to share that Disney Cruise Line makes Traveling with Little Ones a breeze!

    All four ships within Disney Cruise Line's fleet are bursting with activities for smaller sea guppies on every deck. The water play areas and "it's a small world" nursery! are definitely popular spots for the smallest cruisers, but there's even more fun waiting onboard that they can look forward to! There are multiple Character Experiences scheduled every day, so your little princess will be able to meet all her favorite Disney friends throughout the cruise. If she loves music and dancing, the Sail-Away Celebration will be the perfect way to start her cruise! One activity that my son enjoys is the Disney Junior Pirate and Princess Dance Party. (Please note, activities are always subject to change.) Plus, your little one will be able to see all the Broadway-style shows in the Walt Disney Theatre offered throughout your cruise, too!

    I highly recommend choosing an itinerary that stops at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. Your daughter will have a blast spending the day playing in the sand! There will be Disney Characters dressed in their best island attire waiting to take pictures with her there, too!
