I was wondering if you could give me any information on how I can order a cake for a birthday celebration in our room? It is for august 12, 2015.

    Hello Raye!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I can't think of a more magical place to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World, and what's a birthday without cake?

You have a couple yummy options for placing an order.  First, there is a Cake Hotline specifically for this purpose.  Just call (407) 827-2253 at least 72 hours in advance and you can place an order for a custom cake to be delivered to most table-service restaurants.  I'm not sure if they deliver to Disney Resort hotel rooms, but it's worth asking.

The fabulous folks at Disney Floral & Gifts also have a great selection of cakes and other in-room celebrations available.  (Look for the cakes under Characters & Themes, but also be sure to check out the ways they have to add even more pixie dust to your party.)  I've worked with the Dream Makers there on a few occasions and they've always made the experience practically perfect in every way.

I hope that helps as you make your party plans, Raye!  If you have any other questions, we'd love to help, so please visit us again any time.
