I was wondering if you could give me the best routes to these locations i can't seem to find anything on this we are going to be at the animal kingdom, we need to get to the fort wilderness campground and then to the wilderness lodge resort thank you

    Lezlie:

You may be finding it difficult to locate routes because Disney doesn't provide bus transportation between the resorts....so you have to be a little creative.

From Animal Kingdom, I would suggest that you take a bus to Magic Kingdom and then hop on one of the boat launches to Fort Wilderness.  You'll be dropped off at the pier, a short walk from Pioneer Hall and the home of the Hoop dee Doo Revue and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.  (If you're going to Chip 'n' Dale's campfire sing-along, I'd recommend taking the bus near Pioneer Hall to The Meadows Trading Post and walking the short ways from there.)

To get to Wilderness Lodge from Fort Wilderness, take the boat launch straight there (it will stop at both the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge).

If I misunderstood you and you need to go from the Animal Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge, you can either take a bus to Blizzard Beach and then transfer to the Wilderness Lodge bus or ride the bus to Magic Kingdom and transfer to the boat launch to Wilderness Lodge.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
