Hi! I was wondering if there is a way to gift my points to someone. They need more points to go on an Anniversary trip and I would love to help them. If I can gift my points, can you please let me know how I go about doing that? thank you so much

"Welcome home," Karin and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Karin, as a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member I'm thrilled to talk with you today about earning that Fairy Godmother title by gifting your points. Isn't there something Magical about making someone else's vacation dreams come true?  A few years ago I used some Disney Vacation Club points to book a dear friend at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village and could hardly contain my excitement as she and her family checked in!

Now, Karin, since your friend (or family member) is also a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can easily gift those points through a transfer. To do this, you will simply call into Member Services and let them know you'd like to transfer points. Prior to calling make sure you not only have your Membership number handy but that of your friend (or family member) as well. It's also important to confirm the exact name on the Disney Vacation Club account prior to calling in.

Finally, Karin, I'll also encourage you to take a look at THIS PAGE which clearly states the rules and regulations of transferring points.

Karin, I hope this helps as you're getting ready to wrap an invisible bow around the best anniversary gift I can imagine. The only thing better than a stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort might be if you're able to turn a pumpkin into a coach! Karin, I'll be thinking of you as you're making anniversary dreams come true and wish you well. I hope to see you hEAR again at planDisney with any future questions,
