I'm so excited to see that your Magical vacation is so close! I hope your excitement is building with every day. Now, Madelyn, as a guest who has had great success using Disney Genie+ I'm happy to chat with you.
First,
Disney Genie+ is available for purchase through your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, right on the home screen. As this is a "day-of" purchase, you aren't able to reserve this in advance, but it does become available at midnight on the day of your visit. On my last family trip, My husband or I would purchase Disney Genie+ shortly after midnight if we were having a late night or set an early alarm to purchase it in the morning. It might help to know that at busy times of the year, it is possible that Disney Genie+ will sell out.
Once you have purchased Disney Genie+, you can begin making your Lightning Lane selections at 7:00 am. I always like to make our "must-do" attraction of the day selection first, even if the return time is later in the day. I then set an alarm on my phone for 2 hours after park opening time to book our next Lightning Lane selection if we haven't redeemed our first selection before that time.
