Hi there, Bethany. Welcome to our little home on the internet, where we answer all of your
Disney vacation questions!
Typically, to park at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you would need to either be staying there or have an
advanced dining reservation. However, if your friends/family are just visiting for a few hours during the day, they will need to provide photo identification and your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation information to the Cast Member at the security booth. Just keep in mind that if you are visiting at a very busy time of the year, there may be times when Security will not be able to let them park. This is especially true for the winter holidays, spring break, and the 4th of July. While policies are subject to change, there usually isn't a charge for these types of visitors.
If your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel has a
table-service dining option, why not have your Guests join you for a meal while they are visiting? Some of my favorite restaurants at the resort are ones at the resort hotels. Personally, I would drop anything to dine at any of the
fine establishments at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. And let me tell you,
Steakhouse 71 and
California Grill at
Disney's Contemporary Resort are also among some of my favorites. And then, if you're staying on or near
Disney's BoardWalk, there are some great options for both
quick-service and
table-service restaurants!
Bethany, enjoy your visit to the resort and spending time with your friends and family. If you have any other questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out.
Any day spent with friends and family is my favorite day,
Matt
