I was wondering if I am a florida resident and I buy tickets does everyone that goes with me have to show a Florida identification

Hi Alexandra, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's always a pleasure to chat with another Floridian!

Isn't it fun to take our friends and family to the Walt Disney World Resort and show them our favorite place? There's nothing like being with someone who's experiencing Disney for the first time. And we're so lucky that Walt Disney World gives us so many options when it comes to Florida Resident tickets and passes! As a Florida resident, you're eligible for special offers like 3-Day or 4-Day Discover Disney tickets or Florida Resident Annual Passes. According to the Walt Disney World website, each adult who will be using a Florida Resident Ticket must first provide proof of Florida residency before the ticket can be activated. Sadly, that means we can't actually use our discount to buy tickets for our out-of-state visitors.

Alexandra, I see you're planning to come to Walt Disney World around Easter. If your dates are flexible, your visitors can take advantage of the 4-Park Magic Ticket offer, which is also a really great deal - and it's open to everyone! The 4-Park Magic Tickets do have some blockout dates around Easter, though, so I'd check your schedules and see if you can make it work!

I hope this helps you plan a magical visit with your friends and family, Alexandra. Please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
